About GGP
Green Girls Platform (GGP) we are a non-profit young women-led organization that works with girls and young women from the ages of 8-35 to address the unique challenges that they face due to climate change in Malawi. While primarily focused on this demographic, we embrace inclusivity by involving women and men in certain and limited activities. This approach underscores our commitment to diversity and collaboration, ensuring that our programs and initiatives cater to all individuals; varied needs and perspectives within communities.
What we do
Empowering girls and young women to take the lead in climate justice through advocacy, education, and action. Our work focuses on creating opportunities, building skills, and driving real change in communities across Malawi.
Climate Education
To ensure girls and young women have their capacity strengthened around environmental and climate change issues
SRHR and Mental Health
To ensure girls and young women fully enjoy their Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights as well as gain knowledge on mental health
Girls and young women empowerment
Ensuring girls and young women are in positions of power to actively participate in governance structures and decision-making spaces, and are economically empowered to realize their full economic potential
Organizational capacity development
GGP is financially stable, efficient and effective in its operations to deliver meaningful change to its target population
